2016 FRIDA SCALE-UPS

Welcome to the application platform for the 2016 FRIDA Scale-Ups!

The FRIDA Scale-Ups seek to strengthen social enterprises that have developed successful technological solutions by allowing them to gain scale.

Within the context of this call for projects, social enterprises include for- or not-for-profit organizations attempting to join forces and market strategies to find solutions to social problems.

In 2016, FRIDA will support two scale-up projects, providing each with a non-reimbursable fund of USD 40,000 plus supporting activities valued at an additional US$10,000. Scale-ups must be executed within a period of twelve months, which may be extended to fifteen.

FRIDA is the Regional Fund for Digital Innovation in Latin America and the Caribbean. As part of its 2016 call for proposals, the program is also receiving proposals for the FRIDA Grants and FRIDA Awards. Check them out!
